You don't want to burn the ends or use rubber bands. She's in school... don't embarass her! :)

You're using a good brand of hair. What you can do with that hair is dip the ends in really hot water. Be sure to immediately take a towel and pat it dry before it touches your daughter's back. Don't worry, the hair doesn't hold that temperature very long.

By finishing her hair like that, it appears more natural looking and less "home-made"... if you know what I mean?

It'll stays as she swims too!

If she's going to be swimming, I suggest a smaller cornrow. They last longer!

I like the little colored plastic bands for the ends of my cornrows, since burning damages hair-not like plastic bands don't- it's a good alternative to burning.

Make the braids as thin or wide as she likes-or make them as thin as you can get them-but with plastic bands it might be hard to wrap them around the hair.

grl,don't hurt yo self tryna figga out wat u gonna do wit some weave jus' use so rubberbands @ da walmart down da street. Dang!!! Don't make dem braids 2 tight but dont make um 2 skinny cuz den is gonna take 2 long 2 take um out.

when i get braids they boil hot water and dip them in for about 1-2min and they say on their own and add mousse to it afterward it always works for me

i finish my cornrows by putting gel on the ends and twirling it around my finger. It gives a pretty curled end unfortunately you have to do it everyday

Hello, Once you get to the ends of the braid, razer cut it to the desired length you want. Then what you do is dip the ends in some boiling hot water. Just boil a cup of water in the microwave for 5 minutes and dip the ends of the braid in the cup of hot water for about 2 minutes. This will prevent the braid from coming apart and also makes it more natural looking. Be careful and put a towel on you babys neck to prevent her from getting burned.
