How to put the small beads on the end of the small braids for not show hair at the end please any tip will be

This is how I remember it being done:

When you near the end of the braid, thread a bead or a couple over the strand, Then wrap the end in aluminum foil - a small piece, bend it upwards and insert the end into the beads from the bottom.

Pull the beads down over the foil.

Homecoming hair?

im getting my hair done for homecoming at a salon. im not going in before hand to try anything out, im just going in to get it done right before the dance. i have bangs that look like this:

http://img2.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/imgs/...

. my hair is the same color and it goes down like 3 inches below my shoulders. it has some layers. its stick straight, but what im hoping for is to have half of my hair pulled up in french braids in a half- pony and then come together in the back. then id like some curls. do you t hink this will look good with bangs?

do you think its a good idea

thanks!! any feedback is appreciated!!!

Homecoming hair?

OOH OOH OOH!! I know what to do with you hair. First, you must dip in butter for shine, then you must put it in a potato skin wrap to dry. Then when it comes out, you must put many little tiny braids in you hair, and wear it like that. WAHHOOOO

Homecoming hair?

Well, whatever you do, it looks like hair is in this season.

Homecoming hair?

I think i can help.... I had the exact hair style before cutting it..... The length and width of your bangs determine how good it looks. Most of the time people with long hair and bangs look better with a fuller more glamorous down do. But hey do what ya want. French braids just kinda went out about 3 years ago.....

Homecoming hair?

Simple is best. You want something that will accentuate your face shape and show off your hair. Curls are good, but I wouldn't put all of your hair up. Put it half back, leave the other half down and gently curl it in waves.

Homecoming hair?

I know exactly what to do!!!When I went into homecoming I got my hair done right before I went to the dance also. Her are some fantabulous ideas:

How do you get your hair to grow?

you may not believe it, but trim the ends every couple of months, and just pull it back until you get it where you want it. no curling irons, or spray just let be natural.

How do you get your hair to grow?

well i had the same problem when i was like fourteen and fifteen...

i realized that i had split ends so bad that my hair was almost fried at the end and it wouldn't grow(and may i add that my hair at the time wasn't much longer than my shoulders)

so what i had to do is get my hair trimmed every month to two months

i also got my hair layered. I think that getting your hair layered is a good way of getting rid of split ends and still having a nice hair style.

and today i don't have split ends and my hair grows and it healthy and is growing out nicely.

How do you get your hair to grow?

Hairstyles do nothing except make your hair look pretty. Try massaging your scalp. This will stimulate your folicles and promote faster growth. For example, instead of growing 6 inches per year, you could grow 7, possibly more depending on how often you do it. Do it everyday, or even a few times a day. Just use your fingertips, and in the shower really massage the shampoo in for a couple minutes using your fingernails.

How do you get your hair to grow?

People say prenatal vitamins but my doc said that it was actually the hormones my body produced during pregnancy that made my hair grow long. My nails also gre like crazy and I got a perfect complexion.

My hair dresser said that one should brush her hair every night before going to bed. Its like a scalp massage that stimulates growth, keep a balanced diet, get rid off split ends and keep your hair moisturized.

Braids made my hair break. But my hair is not very strong.Maybe yours won't.

How do you get your hair to grow?

Only way to grow your hair is literally to leave it alone. Hair grows at it's own growth rate and there's nothing you can do about it. Want it long then keep the scissors away from it.

How do you get your hair to grow?

comb it when it's wet. don't brush it. and get a trim every 3 months.not too much off though just 1/2 an in.

How do you get your hair to grow?

Vitamins! Try Viatmin E and Folic Acid. I've heard prenatal vitamins but I don't know if it's true. Also keep it trimmed, healthy hair always looks longer because there are less split ends.

How do you get your hair to grow?

Nioxin shampoo and scalp therapy will make your hair grow quickly. It works by stimulating your scalp as it is cold when you put it on and causes the blood to rush to your head to try to warm it. Extra blood flow=increased nutrients and therefore, increased growth. These products can be purchased in salons and are pretty pricey but last quite a while and really, really work. Also, try to keep your hair trimmed up and free of split ends. Split ends break therefore making your hair shorter so if you can get just the ends trimmed off every 6-8 weeks, JUST the ends, you will see your hair long in no time. Hope this helps!

How do you get your hair to grow?

Trim it every 3 months.

Ive heard if you mash up birthcontrol pills into your shampoo that makes it grow. You just ned to make sure the shampoo does not land on any other body parts. There is a shampoo out too!

Is it true that men don't like natural hair?

I'm a single Black female, been told that I have a nice shape, not ugly (but not on myself either so I guess fairly attractive), not a pushover, not mean, actally very nice. Anyway, my male friend says I can't seem to find a man because I wear my hair natural (think afro, twists, braids). I do keep it up, it's not dry and hard, it's actually baby soft. But it's also not curly or wavy, not what others would call, I cringe as I type this... "Good Hair" (That is a statement of ignorance). My hair is not a statement or anything I'm making, just got tired of the every 6 week routine of getting my scalp burned.

So...men...would you or would you not approach a woman with natural hair? Ladies, what's your experience?

Is it true that men don't like natural hair?

I'm not a lady but i would like to answer if you dont mind. Im tired of turning around and all I see is fake hair. Weave is not attractive to me. A woman with her own hair is a confident woman these days. It shows that you know what you have and you know how to work it. Weave is just a sign of vulnerability to me. It is pretty on some girls in some occassions, but id rather see a woman let HER hair down at the end of the day. I like running my hands through my girlfriends' hair without worrying about a track falling out!!!

Is it true that men don't like natural hair?

natural hair is best

on the contrary, over the top hairs, lips, eyes or anything else for that matter is a turn-off.

I guess it depends on the hair. I know loads of girls who wear their hair natural... but I must say, poofy is kinda weird...

I want to curl my hair for school how do i do that?

my hair is to short for braids and i dont have curlers and they dont work in my hair anyway. and i dont want to get up to early i have to get up at 6 already! please help!

I want to curl my hair for school how do i do that?

ok u say that you hair is to short...ok this is wat you can do.you can borrow some curlers and have flip curl in your hair. or you can get some extentions that would look cute and look like your real hair

I want to curl my hair for school how do i do that?

If you have a straighting iron, you can use it to curl your hair.

clamp your hair, and then "roll" the straightening iron until your hair is around it, and then pull down and it will curl. you need hair spray on it probably if you want it to stay all day.

the other option is for you to get out of the shower and curl your hair (put your finger in your hair and twist) until it becomes a little "twist" and then secure it with an elastic or bobby pin.

Also:

Always take a shower or else your hair will look nasty and greasy. We would not want it to look like that, now would we? It looks amazing with oh-so-shiny freshly-washed hair. use shampoo ( and conditioner if you wish).

Style your hair like you normally would. Do what you would normally do, except just leave the hair slightly damp.

Take medium sized chunks of your hair and just, simply, twist it. Twist it until you can even see the twisting at the roots. After the twisting, you are now holding on to it, wrap it around (on your scalp) into a little circle, then pin it down with 2 bobby pins, (hair grips or what ever will keep it in place). Criss-crossing each other. After you've done your whole head (don't worry it doesn't take very long).

Go to sleep or wait until your normal bedtime, and sleep on it. In the morning, undo all of them (it's okay if there are knots) and finger tousle very well.

Spray a little bit of hair spray and scrunch if you'd like.

This idea does work but your hands get a little tired but its worth it!

[edit] Method 2Start off by dampening your hair. When damp make sure to give a center part

Use a comb to separate your hair into 1 inch thick pieces. This is where your friend will come in! Get them to help you do it, and clip each one on your head so that they don't get mixed up.

Take 1 inch thick strand of hair and plait it tightly. Secure with a small hair band. You should do one side of your head, while your friend plaits the other side and the back! Once all the plaits are done, let them dry. This will take longer if you have thicker hair, as you will have had to do More plaits!

Take out all the hair bands! Don't use a brush to separate your hair, get your friend to help you take out each plait with your fingers. Slowly comb through each curl with your fingers so that they become bouncy and adorable!

Put on hair spray or mousse to keep the curls intact. To finish, you could spray your whole hair with a shine spray to make it dazzle!

[edit] Method 3Gather your supplies. Either soft sponge rollers from the store, or pieces of fabric, 6"x2" or so in size. Invite a friend, as you will need their help. This is best done with damp, freshly washed hair, or you can spray-dampen it. Depending on your hair type, you may find adding some gel at this point will help the curls to hold better.

Use a comb to separate your hair into one inch chunks. This is where you will need your friend, to get the back hard-to-reach areas. As you separate off each chunk, either wrap it around the roller, starting at the end, or the piece of fabric, also starting at the end. Roll all the way to the root, and either snap closed or tie the fabric in a single tie. Do not knot the fabric! You want to be able to remove it easily!

Dry. Once all of your hair is wrapped, let it dry. This will take longer if you have thicker hair, or used thicker chunks of hair. It's usually best to do this just before bedtime, they will be dry by morning. You can speed the process with a hairdryer set on cool.

Remove equipment from head. Once your hair is dry, take out all of the rollers or fabric pieces. Do not use a brush on your hair, you are more likely to frizz up. Finger comb through the curls instead, preserving their shape and beauty.

You can use hairspray or mousse to help hold the curls, just find one that won't leave your hair crispy!

I want to curl my hair for school how do i do that?

you can use curling mousse just put it in your hair, scruch it up and use a hairdryer to dry it

Wild pubic hair?

What can be done with wild pubic hair? I do like to braid it but when I comb it out it looks like I have the Jackson Five sitting in my crotch. Thats fine but I am looking for a gel that wont rub off on to underwear too easy. Any ideas?

Wild pubic hair?

Shave it into a mohican and dye it wild colours then gel it, get some photos done and make Xmas cards with them..............

Wild pubic hair?

Why not trim it short........? Just a thought

Wild pubic hair?

I don't think putting gel on it is a good idea. It might cause an irritation or it might cause an infection. I think you should try trimming it down a little and just keep it trimmed so you won't have to deal with it.

Wild pubic hair?

shave it off

Im indian but how can i stop my hair from being tangled?(indian women help me or any body)?

my hair was cut to my neck im using cocunut oil to get back my natural silky indian hair my hair is too short to braid help me

Im indian but how can i stop my hair from being tangled?(indian women help me or any body)?

i am indian too and heres what you should do:

before you shower, put oil into your hair, not the indian mustard or cocunut oil, the other baby oil. Then, brush out your knots, it is easier to do when you have oil in it. Then wash your hair using a similar shampoo and conditinor. Use a moisturizing one, not volume! After the shower, leave your hair down for about 20 minutes then brush out the knots again. Put in a defrizzing creme and finally leave down and clip in back, let dry naturally.

How Much Hair You Need For Micro Braids?

I Will Say You Nedd 2 Packs Of Micro Braids But It Depends On How Big Your Head Is.

How Much Hair You Need For Micro Braids?

Well it depends on that and if your hair is thick or thin. Also if its short of long. But it take 2 packs for my hair but you may need a third just in case.

Does weaves(braided in the inside) grow relaxed hair..??

I was thinkin before I do my weaves I trim the tips of my hair to make it grow and do the weave, for about a month and a half and relax it again , would it grow??

Does weaves(braided in the inside) grow relaxed hair..??

Yes!!!! I have had my sewn in for a month in a half and I have so much new growth and yes I have relaxed hair...The only thing I did was not retouch(even though it was time) before I put the weave in!!!! I just wanted my hair kinky enough to braid!!! But friday its coming out and yes sunday night I'm retouching it!!!!

Does weaves(braided in the inside) grow relaxed hair..??

Yes my hair grew a lot...But trust me it takes time!!! Report It

How do i make my hair???

okay so I have REALLY straight hair.....and even if I spray a ton of hairspray in my hair while it's in braids....it still NEVER stays for more than 30 minutes.

my hair is also really thick....i don't know if that has anything to do with it.

my question is how do i get my hair to hold a wave or a curl?

How do i make my hair???

I always have a lot of trouble curling my hair also. Hold a curling iron straight up and down. Take a 1 inch or smaller piece of hair and wrap it all the way around the curling iron but DO NOT clamp it. Hold it for like 10-15 seconds then unwrap it, don't just pull the curling iron out. Spray with hairspray. It might take you a long time but trust me it looks GORGEOUS when finished.

How do i make my hair???

when its wet use mousse and scrunch it

How do i make my hair???

Try after washing your while still wet put mouse in it and braid it and let it dry over night or if you braid good enough an entire day. And since you have thick hair try smaller individual braids:)

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

I am 5'4'', i don't know if you needed that, but just in case. i have dark blonde hair that has gold, blonde highlights and it goes down 4 or 5 inches below my shoulder. i have sidebangs and my hair is layered a little bit with a difference of 2 inches. the outift is dark blue jeans and brown uggs. then it's a plain green long sleeved shirt and an off white courdoroy jacket. how should i wear my hair? should i curl it or straighten it? and how? also, how should i have my hair? in a ponytail, down, braids, pigtails, etc? plz help! thanks and God bless you!!!

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

You have a few options that will work well with this outfit. Since it seems like a nice, casual look, I wouldn't worry about curling your hair, or doing anything too high maintanence.

You could always simply blow dry your hair for volume, going with your natural texture, or straightening it out a bit. Keep the sideswept bang.

Personally, I'd pull your hair back into a loose and low ponytail, pulling pieces of your hair out and adding some pomade or hair wax for some texture. Add the same product to your bangs for a piecey look. This should keep your style contemporary, but casual, just like your outfit.

Always give yourself some time to play with your hair; try different styles for different outfits... have fun with it. You may surprise yourself and discover new looks that are perfect for you.

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

Curly

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

just straighten your hair and wear your bangs

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

down and straightned

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

i'd say half up half down!!

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

striaghten it flat and pull your bangs to the left side.

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

i think you should maybe straighten it...since its a simple outfit ...and i would just leave it down...maybe put a cute headband or scarf up there

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

I would suggest to wear it up in a hair clip so that the clip is secure and you have hair falling to either side. I see this often and it is so very feminine looking. Perhaps some small dangly earrings for accent. Your outfits sounds too cute.....Enjoy!

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

straighten it! =] it'll look soo cute! trust me =]

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

Depends on what type of look you're going for... For the skiier/country club look, you could straighten it and pull it back into a medium ponytail, leaving the bangs. Straight or curly and half-up would look cute. Two low braids laying in the front would look adorable. Even a tobogon or a corderoy conductors hat would look great with this. Hope I helped... =)

Sarah

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

straighten it with straightners - ghd's are the best - when you straighten your hair, glide it outwards instead of down (i dont know why - my sister told me to do this) and use some heat protection spray beforehand so you keep your hair nice. spray with hairspray afterwards. add clips or a headband :)

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

you should put it in a low ponytail thne clip it up with one of those big tarantula or banana clips that look like these:

it looks really good with my hair...

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

curly or half up or half down

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

try wearing loose waves with a side ponytail. it'll look really cute!!

How should I wear my hair with this outfit??

Should I perm my ethnic hair entirely?

I have had 2 perms in my hair since I have taken my braids out but I only permed my roots because I didn't want to over process my hair. I only had the braids in for 4 months and I had prevousily had a perm then. My ends feel ruff like I need a little relaxer on them but I don't know if it's safe. I have foil highlights also that have been in for 3 months) Do you think I could perm my roots and just put relaxer on the tips without noticing a difference in texture? HELP HELP!!

Should I perm my ethnic hair entirely?

You should go to a salon. Your hair is probably really brittle from all that you've already done. There's a fine line from your permed hair and your roots. Chances are, you could get perm solution on part of your already permed hair and it could end up breaking off completely. Thio is very strong. Get professional help or just wait until your hair grows out and cut off the damaged part.

Should I perm my ethnic hair entirely?

Thanks for the 10 points. Cosmetology class really taught me a lot. Report It

Should I perm my ethnic hair entirely?

U can ask a professional hair dresser..... y wasiting 5 points for such a q.............. huuuuuuh

Should I perm my ethnic hair entirely?

No it will ruin your hair. Your hair will be fried permanentley if you perm it

Should I perm my ethnic hair entirely?

No you never perm your ends it will severely damage your hair

Should I perm my ethnic hair entirely?

If u relax your hair it will dry it out and there is a chance it will fall out also. You need to use a conditioning treatment on your hair and straighten it with a *CHIA* straightener. They work really well with your hair style!!! Good Luck!

Such thick bushy, very very frizzy curly hair!!! HELP?

I have extremely curly and dry and very very frizzy hair and i could only braid it before after which i rebonded it.Now my old hair is back and it looks very very bushy.I want to control frizz and tame my hair so that at least a ponytail looks good.but to no avail..pantene leave in conditioner defines the curls but makes hair very very frizzy..loreal smoothing serum doesnt work..olive oil/sunsilk leave-in/coconut oil/ all either tame down the hair or make hair softer but the frizzes are still HORRIBLE..i have tried everything..please HELP(hair looks very nice when wet but disgusting when dry)

Such thick bushy, very very frizzy curly hair!!! HELP?

it is not a one product thing. the best thing is to use a shampoo and conditioner made for curly hair. then use a curl defining product to control it and an anti humectin for the frizz. kms makes a great curl control lotion. you may also want to try a pommade...aveda makes an anti humectin that works well. speak to the professional salon and ask them for their advise. many of them, like aveda will have tester sizes or will even take back the product if it does not work for you. why waste money on the drug store stuff that does not work? if the pantene leave in conditioner works, try adding the pommade or antihumectin. your hair is too coarse for the silicone serums.

Such thick bushy, very very frizzy curly hair!!! HELP?

i think you should try getting a new hair style that might help...it might reduce ur freeziness and thickness, then add layers to it...it will look prettier with highlights too...depending on your hair color! GOOD LUCK :)

Such thick bushy, very very frizzy curly hair!!! HELP?

use baby oil to bake it thin than straighten it

Such thick bushy, very very frizzy curly hair!!! HELP?

mm dont blow dry ur hair u could go to salon to get it done professionally..and u could buy straighener or curly tongs

Such thick bushy, very very frizzy curly hair!!! HELP?

You should try a relaxer. Go to a pro and get it done. I have a friend with hair like that and it works good. Then when you go ask what you should do with your hair everday. They know what is best for your hair.

Such thick bushy, very very frizzy curly hair!!! HELP?

Start by asking your hairstylist; he/she can tell you products to help tame your hair and keep it healthy at the same time. A flat iron will also help. I'd say salon products are your best bet; it's one of those things "you get what you pay for".Store products for serious hair issues is not a good idea. Pantene has wax in it. If you use a tiny bit you would be alright; but in this case I wouldn't suggest it. OR you could just leave it wet, use a hair gel for curly hair to keep your style locked in and then a finishing spray (lighter than hairspray).

Such thick bushy, very very frizzy curly hair!!! HELP?

Such thick bushy, very very frizzy curly hair!!! HELP?

you need to thin it out, get it layered relly well, then either try to wear it straight, by using straigtening shampoo conditioner and gel for straight hair then maybe blow dry it straight or use a straightener, also if you just et it tlayered, it will be easier to comb without tangling and you can use gel to tame frizzes, and it wont be as frizzy eithr

Such thick bushy, very very frizzy curly hair!!! HELP?

okai try BED HEAD leave in conditioner it will get rid of frizz and try sloly blowdrying it with a low heat hair dryer i have the same problem and just style it afterr

Hair ideas!!!!!!!!!!! i have long, straight, thin hair(keep on reading)?

Hair ideas!!!!!!!!!!! i have long, straight, thin hair(keep on reading)?

KK get it cut a little below the shoulder, and then have it layered from the bangs up to about the ears. on the bangs, have them do a side sweep bangs, if you like the look of one of ur eyes partially covered, personally I think it is hella hott!!!

good luck!

Hair ideas!!!!!!!!!!! i have long, straight, thin hair(keep on reading)?

get your hair layered it can still be long but add body to it by doing short layers :)

Hair ideas!!!!!!!!!!! i have long, straight, thin hair(keep on reading)?

show off the starit were it down (it will look super dramic too)

Hair ideas!!!!!!!!!!! i have long, straight, thin hair(keep on reading)?

first of all i need to say how lucky u r to have straight hair! stragiht hair rarely gets really frizzy and is soo easy to wear down because every1 else in the world stresses over hair stragihteners and u dont have to! so all u have to do is cut your hair in a cute style, maybe get some volumizing shampoo since your hair is thin and there u go! good luck!

Hair ideas!!!!!!!!!!! i have long, straight, thin hair(keep on reading)?

I think you should give yourself some layering to add a bit more omph to your hair, also some long swoopy bangs with face framing. You'd be amazed what some fringe around the face can do. For styling try putting some volumizine mousse on the roots of your hair when its wet, blow dry, and curl 1 inch sections with a 1 inch barrel curling iron. Good Luck!

Hair ideas!!!!!!!!!!! i have long, straight, thin hair(keep on reading)?

since you have long, thin, stright hair you should consider to put a moose after you take a shower in the morning and then blow dry it. it wil give it more body

Hair ideas!!!!!!!!!!! i have long, straight, thin hair(keep on reading)?

well I often have the same problem with my hair and I have recently started wearing my hair wavy cause it adds volume to your hair and also creates a sexy look here's how I do it

é–³? Wash your hair with a volumising shampoo and conditioner and then blow-dry with your head turned upside down to create fullness and volume at the roots. If you have fine hair, do not add conditioner as it is too heavy, try a thickening spray instead.

é–³? Once hair is dry, add some large velcro rollers, or use a large curling tong, to divide off small, random sections for soft, wavy, loose curls.

é–³? Once hair is curled, style with either a brush or your fingers and then add a touch of hairspray to mold the style into shape.

é–³? Styling tip: when using velcro rollers, heat them up under your blow-dryer for about 10 minutes for added staying power and curl.

PLZ Answer Hair weaveing Problem!!10pts PLZ Experience Only?

I have short brown hair and I get it braided at a salon and then I weave the hair on myself. The extensions have always been dark brown but now I want them light brown w/ highlights. I do my own hair and I m Not going to the salon. Now dying it the same brown as the hair extension is easy but doing the highlights the same style as the extension is hard. What I would do is just weave it over my natural color hair thickly for no show.

I know about this subject so only SMART answers plz.

Thanks

Elekctra

PLZ Answer Hair weaveing Problem!!10pts PLZ Experience Only?

~Curls curls curls

One of my favorites is the "cornrows" in the front with individuals in the back.

Single braids are really cute too. Most people prefer this one...

Ask for "bangs" to frame your face. The person doing your hair will braid hair in the front of your face like a bang, it's a really nice touch....

GOOD LUCK :)

use baby oil to bake it thin than straighten it

Transition(from relaxed hair to natural hair) hairstyles.?

I am 16 years old and I am about 3 weeks into my transition. My hair is about 3 inches and right now I have plaits that are really tight. They make my head hurt so I want to take them out. The only problem with that is that my hair is too short for braids n micros(that don't hurt). So what type of hairstyles can I wear(to school, to work, and to go out) that looks decent?

Transition(from relaxed hair to natural hair) hairstyles.?

Oh sweetie please take out those tight braids. You are just hurting yourself, your hair, and damaging your hair. I understand trying to work with short hair; my hair is 2.5 inches. I have found that it's easy for my to wear a teeny weeny afro, comb twists, and a wash n go. Are those 3 inches relaxed ends? If they are then those styles probably won't work for you. You can get braids though that aren't extremely tight. I wore braids for a while and they never hurt me.

ETA: Since your hair is half and half you won't be able to do twists or an afro without it looking funky. Braids are fine but make sure they aren't tight.

Transition(from relaxed hair to natural hair) hairstyles.?

Here are just a few suggestions:

Braids with extensions- but not to tight PLEASE!!!

Two Strand Twists- with or without extensions

Comb Coils/Twists

Straw Sets- These seem to look nice on transitioning hair

Cornrows with or without extensions

Braid/Twist Outs

There are a lot of natural hair sites you can check out too.

My hair is really wavy now because it was in braids. how can i keep my hair like this, im mean FOREV

my hair is wavy but i want it to be really wavy, is it possible to do that, for it to stay naturally. it is natural right?

My hair is really wavy now because it was in braids. how can i keep my hair like this, im mean FOREVER!??

Once you have braids in your hair will be curly/wavy/kinky for about a day. If you don't wash it the next day your hair will continue to be slightly wavy. But as soon as it is washed, or comes in contact with water it will go back to your normal natural hair. There is no way to keep your the same after having braids in if that isn't your natural hair style.

My hair is really wavy now because it was in braids. how can i keep my hair like this, im mean FOREVER!??

dont take a shower everrrr lol

or braid your hair everyday and open it.

My hair is really wavy now because it was in braids. how can i keep my hair like this, im mean FOREVER!??

just keep having your hair in braids forever.....

My hair is really wavy now because it was in braids. how can i keep my hair like this, im mean FOREVER!??

You should braid your hair before bed and when you sleep on it, it will stay for the following day. But yes when it comes into contact with water, it will go back to straight.

After you take braids out of your hair, how long should u wait to get a perm?

You should wait anywhere from 1-2 days to a week before getting a relaxer after taking your braids down. Also, right before you take them down, be sure to moisturize your scalp with a moisturizing cream. If you don't have any, you can use regular body lotion. It keeps it from being so itchy and I find that it helps the relaxer take better.

And the most important thing to remember before getting a relaxer: Don't scratch!

After you take braids out of your hair, how long should u wait to get a perm?

You're welcome. ^_^ Report It

After you take braids out of your hair, how long should u wait to get a perm?

like a day or 2...i think

After you take braids out of your hair, how long should u wait to get a perm?

Don't get a perm they are very damaging and the only way to get rid of damaged hair is to grow it out and cut it off.

After you take braids out of your hair, how long should u wait to get a perm?

ur hair is already damaged from braids, so i'd suggest avoiding perm for a while, a couple of months at least

After you take braids out of your hair, how long should u wait to get a perm?

Do not get a perm in your hair you can try other styles without getting a perm.

After you take braids out of your hair, how long should u wait to get a perm?

my hair dresser told me a week...because your scalp needs time to heal...since its sore from the braids....she also said if u perm it now...it will perm but you will have lots of scabs on your scalp as a result of a sore scalp.

How are twist braids done to the hair?

Check out this site and click on the pictures for instructions.

Good luck.

How are twist braids done to the hair?

It starts off with a regular braid at the very top just to lock your hair then the twisting begins.......

How are twist braids done to the hair?

Part the hair into two and then rub them till they are strong enough ..careful rub them together until hard or strong..fininsh upto tip.

keep practising till you get it then you can reduce the hardness of the braid.

goodluck

How are twist braids done to the hair?

I hope I'm thinking of the same thing you are.

If you start with a ponytail it will be easier, but you can also just gather your hair in the back without tying it if it's long enough. Divide it into two even sections, and twist both of them in the same direction (like both clockwise or both counter-clockwise) for several inches and then wind the two twisted parts in the OTHER direction. Just repeat that until you get to the end, and tie off the end-- the way it's twisted will keep it from unwinding.

What is quickest way to take extension braids out of my hair?

The braid are very tiny and I am dreading the time it will take to remove them.

What is quickest way to take extension braids out of my hair?

Do what my cousin does! Cut the braids about a inch away from where you think your hair stops. Wet the braids, put baby oil on them, and let them slide right out on their own. It beats having to pick and pull every one. Braids are beautiful but they do take a long time to put them in and take them out. Men dont understand what we go through to be beautiful.

What is quickest way to take extension braids out of my hair?

Washing them might wrok. You could try that. Or maybe you could spray some hair spray onto it. (the untangling spray type)

What is quickest way to take extension braids out of my hair?

put in a whole bottle of conditioner on your head to loosen them (let it sit for a little) cut as much of the braid that u are for sure is not you real hair. it definitely cuts the time in half. it is time consuming regardless, think of how long it took to put it in. the best idea is find a friend to help u out.

What is quickest way to take extension braids out of my hair?

What you need to do is cut the braid up to where you think your real hair stops. Then you can do one of two things; take a comb with a rat-tail and take them out like that. Or you can un-briad each of them from where you cut them, this one takes a little longer. But it mostly depends how what type of briads you have and how small they are. if you have micros it's going to take longer.

What is quickest way to take extension braids out of my hair?

The quickest way: Don't get them to begin with. Be happy with your natural hair.

What do about the broken, thinning edges of my hair?

I'm biracial (black mother, white father) and I started relaxing my hair about 3 years ago. After it was relaxed I got a short, spiky, un-even, punk-like cut. After it grew out, it was very un-even and broken off so I got it all cut chin length. I was very un-happy with the length of my hair and started to wear clip in extensions. I was un-happy with how they didn't stay in my hair, so I got micro braids. At this time my edges were already brittle and broken off from before, but the braids helped them grow out. Sinse then I've had three sew in weaves, the last one is still in, and it pulled too hard on two small patches of hair around the edges that seem to be doing fine now. Stopping the relaxers is not an option, what should I do after I take the weave out, to keep my edges from breaking and the rest of my hair growing and healthy?

What do about the broken, thinning edges of my hair?

Well the first thing you need to do when you take out your weave is give it a good deep conditioning. My favorite conditioner is LeKair Cholesterol Plus Strengthening and Conditioning Cream. It contains jojoba oil, aloe vera and collagen protein which makes your hair softer and stronger.

After shampooing your hair, place the conditioner on it and let it sit for 30-45 minutes. Sitting under a dryer during this time is even better. This particular conditioner can also be used as a daily treatment by mixing one tablespoon of it with 8 ounces of water, and spraying it lightly over your entire head before styling. This will strengthen your hair and prepare it for if you plan to get another weave.

After this, when your hair is dry, it's good to use some sort of product that moisturizes and restore nutrients. Pink Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion helps protect your hair against breakage and split ends, and works great on relaxed hair. These products can be purchased at your local beauty supply store.

What do about the broken, thinning edges of my hair?

U have mistreated ur hair. Go 2 a beauty parlor n ask them 2 cut the "ends" of ur hair. Use a shampoo 4 curly or wavy hair. Take supplements/vitamins 4 a stronger n shiny hair/nails.....(Did u know that ur hair n nails r similar in composition?)

One of the most common causes of excess hair loss and cracking, splitting, peeling, or chipping fingernails is is a malfunctioning stomach , When our stomachs don't make enough acid and pepsin (a major protein digesting enzyme), a wide variety of nutrients are "lost." Amino acids (the "building blocks" of protein), minerals, vitamin B- 12, and folate head the list. With such a variety of nutrients impaired by a malfunctioning stomach, it's not a surprise that something has to "give," and the hair and nails, being presumably less essential to health, are often the first to go.

Im in the 8th grade and i need a style to do to my hair?

Im going to the 8th grade and through 6th and 7th grade i have always gotten braids, now that my hair has grown its time to make a change. i want something natural (without weave). Im in the 8th grade and i need a style to do to my hair?

Check out thousands of hairstyles using http://mo8.org for links to websites offering different hairstyles, tips and free makeovers, you will be able to find something suitable. You can also upload a photo and try different hairstyles

Im in the 8th grade and i need a style to do to my hair?

i think that you should get your hair layered. then, get side swept bangs.their really cute, look it up on google. oh, and when you get your bangs, buy a cutee head band also so you can leave your side bangs hanging. head bands are only 50 cents in claires so you can check there for some. i am not exactly sure its the same for you but the claires next to my house is like that. you should also buy some more hair accessories there, it'll make it look cute. oh and you could also put a little bit of highlights on your hair or on your side bangs, or the front of your hair NOT your whole hair, but the color is for you to choose. hope this helped! :]]

Im in the 8th grade and i need a style to do to my hair?

I have much different hair than you but I have a friend who probably has the same hair as you .... I would say that you should bring back half of your front hair into a half back ponytail and then get sidebangs off to the right....It looks great with her hair.good luck.... PS ...im goin to 8th as well!

How can I make my nappy hair straight silk without gettting a perm/relaxer?

First of all, I 've not used a perm/relaxer about 3 or 4 years. My hair has been twisted or braided when it shampoos and blows drying. It helps my hair grow. But sometimes i am worried when i decide to use a flat iron because it is not good for my hair or it gets damaged. That's why i use it two or three times in a month. Every time I try to use a flat iron to straighten my hair but it gets frizzy or nappy in a few hours later or the next day. it doesnt work. it gets me frustrated. I need your help. how can my hair gets straight and silk last longer without getting a perm/relaxer? I just wonder if pressing hot comb can straighten my hair out and does it help my hair stay soft, silk and straight in a few days or a few weeks but i am scared for my hair if it gets breakable. do u have any ideas about giving me some advices or some tips?

How can I make my nappy hair straight silk without gettting a perm/relaxer?

Alright, firstly, make sure that you are using the right types of shampooing product for your hair. You could try using a product like Sunsilk (Local drugstores). Make sure that you are using the same type of shampoo AND conditioner if at all possible. If you can afford it, you shuld try buying a deep conditioner.

You could also try and use a hot oil treatment. They are very safe for your hair and they work very well. If you buy the Vo5, you are getting a good deal and a great working product. The instructions are on the box, so follow them carefully.

Next, you could even try drying your hair on a lower heat setting. Too much heat can cause the most damage to your hair. Make sure that when drying your hair, you hold the dryer about 8 inches away from your head if possible. You could try using a round barrel brush on your hair while drying it as well. Do this by taking a small section of your hair and placing the brush against where your hair meets your scalp and running the blowdryer along the other side of your brush (so that your hair is between the blowdryer and your brush).

Lastly, if you are willing to spend a lot of money, a new Paul Mitchell straightener is the best way to go if you want your hair to be pretty much perfectly straight. It is very costly. If you know anyone who has access to a salon store (ie. your hairdresser) who could maybe get the straightener for you at a discount price, try that first. This specific straightener is usually $150, but I got mine for about $90 since my mom is friends with a hair stylist running her own business.

If the Paul Mitchell straightener is too expensive for your taste, you could also try using a line of shampoos/creams/sprays for your hair called Matrix. It is the Sleek version of the shampoos in an orange bottle. This line of hair products is starting to be available in most stores, but it can be found at hair salons who sale hair care products. You will need to invest in the shampoo, conditioner, smoothing creme, and straightening spray. The instructions on how to use all of these are also on the bottles.

When using any kind of straightening spray, hold the bottle upright away from your sectioned piece of hair about 4 inches and spray a light mist. Set the bottle down and straighten the section of the hair from root to tip.

I HOPE SOME OF THIS HELPS! IT'S JUST A BUNCH OF RANDOM INFORMATION AND HAIRCARE PRODUCTS THAT I HAVE USED! :]

I don't think you can get anything but a tempory fix. Try a silicone based shine or repair treament as well as your staightening balm. If you're using just a hot comb or iron though the second you get alot of humidity your hair is going to bounce back to it's natural shape

Afro/black girls ..what do u use 2 soften thick curly hair?

You can use either Luster's Pink Oil Moisturizing Lotion or Doo Gro Thickening Lotion (white bottle blue lotion).

Afro/black girls ..what do u use 2 soften thick curly hair?

wild growth oil works really well when it comes down to softening and combing out your hair. it doesn't smell that good, but it helps and also helps your hair grow. i use it about once or twice a week.

Do not get a perm in your hair you can try other styles without getting a perm.

i think that you should get your hair layered. then, get side swept bangs.their really cute, look it up on google. oh, and when you get your bangs, buy a cutee head band also so you can leave your side bangs hanging. head bands are only 50 cents in claires so you can check there for some. i am not exactly sure its the same for you but the claires next to my house is like that. you should also buy some more hair accessories there, it'll make it look cute. oh and you could also put a little bit of highlights on your hair or on your side bangs, or the front of your hair NOT your whole hair, but the color is for you to choose. hope this helped! :]]

I have braids how can my hair grow real fast please no pills?

Is there anything that can make my here grow real fast?

I have braids how can my hair grow real fast please no pills?

i don't know about a way to make your hair grow really fast, but regular scalp massages using coconut or olive oil before having a shower should help, you should move your scalp in circular movements with your fingers, remember only move your scalp not your hair, don't try the weight thing, it'll just break your hair.

I have braids how can my hair grow real fast please no pills?

Tie fishing weights to each individual braid, the weight will help pull them as they grow out . :)

I have braids how can my hair grow real fast please no pills?

u can always get the person to braid ur hair in cornrows and then either sew in or glue in extensions. Leave it in for bout a month or 2 by the time u take it out, ur hair should have grown. Works for mine but dont kno bout urs though

I have braids how can my hair grow real fast please no pills?

use horse shampoo!!! it's very effective!!!!

I have braids how can my hair grow real fast please no pills?

Contrary to what some believe, putting weights on your hair won't make it grow faster. I don't think anything will make it grow faster, but a constant pressure caused by weights or having it braided too tight can make it come out.

I have braids how can my hair grow real fast please no pills?

take care of your hair like it should then you would see some result

Should i dye my hair?

im 14, african american, and i have vitiligo (a lack of pigment of some areas of my body and hair) so some of my hair is white. i wear braids most of the year and the patch of my hair that is white (directly in the center of my forehead) is really noticeable and makes my hair look weird. i used to dye it black to blend in but the dye jobs made the already bad edges (in the front of my hair) worse. does anyone think i should continue to dye it to fix the hair discoloration or leave it so my hair doesnt fall out?

Should i dye my hair?

I don't think you should dye it, but rather learn to love the color your hair is. If you do dye it, you'll end up having to color the roots of your hair frequently - every 3-4 weeks - and thats really damaging.

Should i dye my hair?

don't dye it!

Should i dye my hair?

Leave what Mother Nature gave you alone.

Don't try to be what you are not (in appearance or otherwise)

Should i dye my hair?

I would leave it alone, you dont want to end up bald do you?

Do overnight sponge curlers. There are different sizes. Put them in when your hair is wet, but not too wet (damp) and then sleep with them in. Theyre cheap too by the way you can get them at a drugstore like CVS

Your hair is much too valuable an asset for you to keep experimenting on it. Bini is right...you should go to the salon. Let the experts do it.
