im 14, african american, and i have vitiligo (a lack of pigment of some areas of my body and hair) so some of my hair is white. i wear braids most of the year and the patch of my hair that is white (directly in the center of my forehead) is really noticeable and makes my hair look weird. i used to dye it black to blend in but the dye jobs made the already bad edges (in the front of my hair) worse. does anyone think i should continue to dye it to fix the hair discoloration or leave it so my hair doesnt fall out?

I don't think you should dye it, but rather learn to love the color your hair is. If you do dye it, you'll end up having to color the roots of your hair frequently - every 3-4 weeks - and thats really damaging.
