Part the hair into two and then rub them till they are strong enough ..careful rub them together until hard or strong..fininsh upto tip.

keep practising till you get it then you can reduce the hardness of the braid.

If you start with a ponytail it will be easier, but you can also just gather your hair in the back without tying it if it's long enough. Divide it into two even sections, and twist both of them in the same direction (like both clockwise or both counter-clockwise) for several inches and then wind the two twisted parts in the OTHER direction. Just repeat that until you get to the end, and tie off the end-- the way it's twisted will keep it from unwinding.
