Graduation Picture Hair Styles?

I have very thick African-American hair that is now in braids and my graduation picture is in three days. I don't have enough time to take the braids out and let the hair rest in order to perm it and if I rebraid it, it will be so tight that I won't be able to smile. Plus, my hair is to thick to press or hot iron (I tried it 4 times, it doesn't work). What should I do?

I think that you shoud braid or twist the front and have the back flat iron or with rollers. That way is doesn't have to be chemically straightened.

You should get it relaxed with Japanese straightening. It only takes a few hours and if you get a non chemical japanese relaxing you can do whatever you want with it afterwards.
