I am half black/white and have long curly, light brown hair with blonde highlights. Everyone at my school (black with short hair) always say how much they love my hair and that i have "good" hair. But when i straighten my hair or put it in braids it looks way long and people are always saying stuff like "why u tryin to show off just cuz u got that good hair" and "ur hair aint all dat" and they are serious too. For almost all black people that i know, why doesn't their hair grow past their shoulders usually?

im mixed with black and mexican but from my black side i learned that black girls now and days put to much stress in their hair and they put bad weave tracks and to much gel and its messes up their hair. black girls who think they know about hair really dont they puttin to much stress. its mess up their scalp and their hair cant grow and it breaks off. and they hair aint even cute when it look like that with bad weave in it. i mean its ok to put some weave and tracks but when its bad thats messes it up big time
