Well it depends on how old you're daughter is.But anyway no matter how old she is tell her that you'll pay her $5.00 bucks if she let's you or if she's like the age 5-8 then tell her that you'll take her out for icecream or to the park or something like that.Even if you don't do those things YOU"RE THE BOSS NOT HER.And anyway tell her that she go to scholl nappy headed if she wants her choice but you're problem so, save your breath and have someone else do it.Good Luck!

I'm assuming that your daughter won't let you do her hair because it's painful when you braid it. If your daughter has thick coarse hair, or just has a sensitive scalp, she may not want you even coming near her hair! However, it has to be done so that her hair look presentable. Explain that to your daughter and tell her that not styling her hair is not an option. Also let her know that you will be as quick and gentle as possible. Let her watch v or play a silly game while you braid her hair to make the time pass faster for her.

As far as product, nothing will really help. You will need a good detangler spray for her hair. Any detangler spray that's labeled for children should work. * you can find this section in the beauty department of any department store*

...if it's because it physically hurts her hair I can understand that...just take your time and comb it out with small sections and maybe spray some leave in conditioner on it to soften and dampen the hair and make it easier to deal with...now if it is because she the 9 year old just doesn't want her hair done, then you the adult, the mother make her come to the realization that she's getting it done weather she wants to or not...
