I had them younger than that. U just dont want to overdo it b/c if her hair is constantly under tension it might break off. in b/t braids, dont do too much to it b/c the hair will become more brittle. Otherwise it should b fine.

No not all, my 5-year old cousin gets them done in her hair as was I when I was little. As long as you know how to take care of them (its not hard), but at that age, don't get them too long. Maybe, shoulder length or a little past the shoulders.
